conference registration microgrants
Funding to assist students to attend conferences
Each year, loveresearch.info offers several microgrants totaling up to AU$1,500 (approx. US$1,000) to assist students to present talks at conferences. loveresearch.info will register the student for the conference.
Students should submit an application for the grant once they have received confirmation that they have been accepted to present a talk at a conference by emailing an application to loveresearch.info@gmail.com
Applications should include a Word document detailing the following:
- Your affiliation, level of study, and supervisor
- Contact details (including all details required for registering for the conference)
- Details of the conference you plan to attend, days you wish to attend, and evidence you have been accepted to present a talk (also provide details if you have a membership that reduces registration costs)
- The title and abstract of the research you will be presenting
- A brief summary (1 paragraph) of how the research contributes to the science of love in romantic relationships
Applications will be assessed on the contribution the research makes to the science of love in romantic relationships and value for money. Registrations to present studies that use validated measures of love will be prioritized. Applicants will be advised if successful within 1 week.
